Michael Nassirian is a veteran technology executive, entrepreneur, and innovator with more than four decades of experience spanning software, hardware, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and advanced product development. He currently serves as Founder and CEO of Thessai Corporation, a company focused on developing privacy-first AI solutions to improve the quality of life, safety, and independence of seniors through intelligent behavioral monitoring technologies.
Prior to founding Thessai, Michael held leadership roles at Microsoft Corporation, where he contributed to some of the company’s most recognized products and initiatives, including Windows, Office, Surface, and HoloLens. Over his career, he has led large multidisciplinary engineering organizations, driven complex product development efforts, and helped incubate and scale emerging technologies and startups. His expertise spans AI systems, semiconductor technologies, enterprise software, immersive computing, and executive leadership.
Michael is also deeply engaged in entrepreneurship, mentoring, and community leadership. He currently serves as President of the Bellevue Rotary Club for the 2025–2026 Rotary year, leading initiatives focused on community service, leadership, and international engagement. In addition to his work in technology innovation, he has been active in venture development, startup advisory work, and Rotary leadership initiatives focused on service and community impact. Through Thessai Corporation, he is dedicated to advancing human-centered AI solutions that preserve dignity, privacy, and independence for aging populations.
Michael earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He continues to advocate for innovation, ethical technology development, and the use of AI to solve meaningful real-world challenges.
