A big problem among college campuses is organizing recreational sports. Intramural games require costs, sign-up processes, and must be approved by the university. Club sports can be competitive and require a hefty time commitment. Many students resort to pick-up soccer, basketball, and football games, but must play with students of varied abilities, where a game is not guaranteed.
Ludicon is the solution in a mobile application that centralizes communication for pick-up games, serving as a hub for students to discuss meeting times for different sports, ability levels, and places. Instead of spontaneously arriving at a location and asking to play, this app expedites and fortifies the process.
Within the Ludicon interface, you set up a profile with the sports you play, your age, gender, and ability level. From there, you edit your preferences based on which users or games you want to create a game with. The application then generates matches after connecting with the database, which the user joins and is then presented with a group chat for communication.
