Sameer Halepete, Vice President of VLSI Engineering at NVIDIA
Sameer Halepete holds a B.Tech. from IIT Bombay and an M.S. from Stanford in Electrical Engineering. He began his career at Sun Microsystems, then worked on low-power VLIW processors at Transmeta. At NVIDIA since 2002, he helped develop the first streaming multiprocessor-based GPU. As VP since 2009, he has led the design of leading GPU, CPU, SoC, and network processors. He was recently honored as a Distinguished Alumnus by IIT Bombay.
