Prof. Deji Akinwande has been appointed as editor for IEEE Electron Device Letters (EDL). EDL is a highly regarded publication  in the broad field of electron devices and is the flagship journal of the IEEE Electron Devices Society. It is a fast-turnaround publication featuring original and significant work that addresses pressing challenges and/or reports radical changes in technology or design. Prof. Akinwande will serve for an initial 3-year term.

Prof. Akinwande is an Associate Professor and holds the Jack Kilby/Texas Instruments Endowed Faculty Fellowship in Computer Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He recently received the 2015 IEEE Nanotechnology Early Career Award.
