Shanshan Xie, PhD candidate in Texas ECE, has been awarded the 2021-2022 Predoctoral Achievement Award by the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (IEEE SSCS) and is award is given to promising graduate students in the area of solid-state circuits.

Xie is a member of the Circuit Research Lab in Texas ECE, and she is advised by Dr. Jaydeep Kulkarni. Her research interests include mix-signal design for compute-in-memory techniques, machine learning accelerator, and annealing processors. She previously served as an intern with Analog Devices, Wilmington, MA, USA, and with Texas Instrument Corporation, Dallas, TX. She received the Cadence Women in Technology Scholarship in 2020.
