Zhangyang “Atlas” Wang, associate professor in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been awarded a research grant from the National Science Foundation through the Artificial Intelligence, Formal Methods, and Mathematical Reasoning (AIMing) program.

Texas ECE professors Jean Anne Incorvia and Lizy John have each received a Future of Semiconductors (FuSe2) grant. The FuSe2 program Supports collaborative research and education in partnership with industry on domain-specific computing, heterogenous integration, and new materials for energy-efficient, enhanced-performance and sustainable semiconductor-based systems.

Prof. Jean Anne Incorvia of Texas ECE along with Prof. Supriyo Bandyopadhyay of Virginia Commonwealth University have received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant to study and demonstrate a system that will greatly reduce the hardware burden associated with generating correlations between two or more p-bit streams.
