Web3 is a revolutionary new iteration of the internet, where users can take control of their information, using decentralized technologies. However, while developers want to innovate with Web3, it’s too difficult, expensive, and time-consuming for existing Web2 developers. Three0 aims to lower this barrier by bringing Web3 technologies to Web2 developers in a format they are familiar with. Three0 is an open-source Backend-as-a-Service platform that combines decentralized database, authentication, storage, hosting, and tokenization modules. As a fully decentralized Web3 development toolset, it assists in the development of other fully decentralized applications and services. All modules are accessible to developers through both a JavaScript SDK and an online Developer Console for project management. Developers can focus their efforts on the front end of an application and don’t need to worry about developing a backend infrastructure. By using the Three0 SDK for their project, developers can interact with the entire Three0 suite of modules and use the best decentralized technologies. Developers can also host their front ends using Three0’s decentralized hosting service.
