Our problem requires us to design and implement an API wrapper for qTest, a test case management tool, as they migrate from their previous one, qMetry. qTest is a cloud based tool developed by Tricentis that offers a variety of tools which allow developers to track, organize, and report testing with ease.

The goal of our project is to assist in the automation of processes used to interface with qTest. In order to fulfill this task we also tested the qTest API to expose any weaknesses that Tricentis needs to address. This testing involves basic unit testing, but also performance testing the service to inform Dell of any limitations in their deployment of qTest. Our solution to this problem will allow Dell employees to easily access a robust qTest API, enabling them to deliver enterprise products such as servers, storage, and software in a more organized manner and at a faster rate.
