Apple has recently introduced Private Cloud Compute as part of Apple Intelligence to take an extraordinary step forward for privacy in AI. This includes providing verifiable transparency — a unique property wherein security and privacy researchers can inspect the end-to-end security and privacy promises of PCC. This property is the result of the deep integration of hardware and software present in Apple technologies. In this talk, we’ll dive deep into how PCC leverages these Apple technologies to safeguard user data while ensuring verifiable transparency.
