Jiaojiao Ou has received the 2017 BACUS Scholarship, one of the premier Optics and Photonics Education Scholarships offered by SPIE. The award is presented to students who demonstrate prospect for long-term contribution to the field of optics, photonics or a related field. The mission of the SPIE society is to advance emerging technologies through interdisciplinary information exchange, continuing education, publications, patent precedent, and career and professional growth.
Jiaojiao Ou is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She currently works in the UTDA Lab and is advised by Professor David Pan. Ou has worked as a Silicon R&D Group intern at ARM Inc. (2016), a research intern at Mentor Graphics (2015), and a research intern at Global Foundries (2014). She received her master degree of Microelectronics at Peking University in 2013 and bachelor degree of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2010. Her research interests include physical design for advanced technology node and design for manufacturing (DFM).
