FoodVentory

FoodVentory is an innovative mobile application designed to revolutionize the way college students manage their groceries, meal planning, and food utilization, directly addressing common challenges such as food waste and inefficient shopping habits. Developed for iOS, FoodVentory integrates advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to scan grocery receipts, automatically populating a digital pantry that tracks food inventory, including quantities and expiration dates. This feature allows users to effortlessly maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of pantry items.

Recover

"Recover" is an innovative project designed to revolutionize physical therapy with technology. As the demand for physical therapy increases worldwide, accessibility challenges such as transportation become more apparent. The project aims to bridge this gap by enabling therapists and patients to engage in at-home recovery effectively. By employing wearable sensors, the system captures data from bicep curl exercises, transforming it into actionable insights and visual feedback through an intuitive and interactive mobile application.

StuHQ

StuHQ is a productivity app for students to use to manage their daily lives. It includes three main features: Life Calendar, Resume Builder, and Recipe Hub. Life Calendar serves as a calendar and task list for students to keep assignments and due dates organized. Resume Builder is an auto-resume generator that creates a business professional resume from input fields. Finally, Recipe Hub is a place for students to maintain a grocery list, stock list, and recipe list. The recipe list allows users to store new recipes, and access their ingredients and steps seamlessly. 

AI Fitness Assistant

Our project addresses the issue of a lack of weight training based applications on the market. Currently, the majority of fitness applications available only track cardiovascular activities, so our project aims to give users an application that can assist in their strength and hypertrophic training goals. We utilize AI to generate personalized training plans for users of all levels based on their gender, height, weight, experience, and goals.

Fire Tracker Robot

The Fire Tracking Robot is an image detection model implemented on self-contained hardware. The system is able to detect and track the movement of fire by centering its vision on the subjected fire. Ultimately, the tracker serves as a proof of concept for the future development of fire safety devices.

 

Implementation of a RISC-V ISA on an FPGA

Many students face dilemmas in accessing these tools due to incompatible platforms and operating systems. This project aims to provide a solution to the aforementioned inconsistency by implementing the RISC-V Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and developing a customizable laptop computer utilizing the RISC-V core, which will be distributed to students. This initiative will provide students with an upgradable foundational tool that resolves compatibility issues between different operating systems, software platforms, and hardware platforms.

Ailegro

Discover Ailegro, the revolutionary AI-powered web application transforming music generation. While experts in the music industry seek powerful tools to enhance their compositions, hobbyists often face barriers due to complex interfaces. With the rise of generative AI, music creation possibilities have expanded, yet accessibility remains a challenge. Ailegro bridges this gap by offering a versatile platform catering to both technical requirements and simplicity.

Autonomous Plant Watering System

Plant health can be negatively affected by over-enthusiasm as well as from neglect. Some factors that harm plants are over-watering, dehydration, dormancy, and light levels. Due to the lack of information when it comes to gardening and agriculture, many plant owners end up either over or under-watering which leads to poor plant health. So, the team proposed to create an autonomous irrigation system that would automate and track the times the plants were watered.

MovieConnect

MovieConnect is a film-related social network platform that offers both personalized recommendations and provides a space to discuss and rate movies.  Our platform offers a personalized experience, allowing users to create profiles, rate movies, engage in discussion, and receive tailored recommendations based on their preferences. By leveraging machine learning algorithms, MovieConnect provides accurate and insightful movie suggestions that are based on an extensive database and a user's film background.

Smart Irrigation System

This Smart Irrigation System aims to revolutionize home gardening for individuals with limited space or time. Integrating a weather API and Wi-Fi connectivity, it optimizes watering schedules to conserve water while allowing remote management. Tailored for homeowners and apartment dwellers alike, its solar-charged battery ensures sustainability and efficiency. This comprehensive solution offers low-maintenance gardening, making it accessible and practical for diverse living situations.
